The 3.5 mm Piezo Button Sensor!
Solid models available for download.

RJG now offers the 9210 indirect piezoelectric sensor. With a 3.5 mm diameter and a 250 N (56 lb.) load capacity, it is ideal for small, tightly-packed ejector pins commonly found in electrical connectors and other complex miniature parts. This sensor will be available with single-channel or multi-channel connectors, making it easy to use in a wide range of applications. For more information, contact inside sales.

eDART™ Software v9.3 Released

The 9.3 software now has these added features:

  • Diverter control feature for those using reject only output. This allows you to return the reject output to ON after each cycle.
  • The system now has the ability for the Intouch system to start and stop jobs.
  • The eDART creates a new summary value called "Current Setting / Machine Shot Size". Once the eDART knows where screw bottom is and has a good screw run signal it can compute the shot size. This can be used as a part of the record checking for process adjustments.

eDART™ Software v10.4 Released

The 10.4 software now has these added features:

  • Create custom sensor location names.
  • View Summary Statistics from the Summary Graph by simply touching a curve to get the specific stats.
  • Pressing on a sensor to identify its location. Now you can simply use the feature from one screen without needing to know how to activate it.

RJG Presents Training Excellence Awards

At the Plastics News Executive Forum, RJG awarded The Tech Group and Baxter with the 2013 Training Excellence Award. RJG created the award as a way to recognize our customers for their commitment to the RJG Master MolderSM certification program. We selected a handful of customers to receive the inaugural awards, and plan to continue with the Training Excellence award annually. RJG developed the Master MolderSM Certification program more than ten years ago under the guidance of Norm Ward. He saw a great need in the industry for a training program and tools that would bridge the gap between classroom instruction and implementing best practices for success. Over the years Master MolderSM Certification program has evolved into the industry standard for injection molding processing training.

Decreased Training Required for
V10 Software

RJG provides two-day training courses designed to teach users how to use the eDART System. Version 10 of the eDART software has dramatically changed the content of the training. The software is intuitive enough that users are now able to spend less time learning the software (approx 4 hours) and more time learning how to apply the system to solve molding issues and improve processes (approx 12 hours). Contact the training department for details.

Benefits of a MAPP Membership

MAPP was founded on the principle of providing its members with programs and services that are effective and beneficial. RJG encourages our customers to become MAPP members, therefore it is imperative that our customers understand all the benefits available. We invite you to participate in the “Benefits of MAPP Association Membership” Webinar. During the webinar we will discuss the four pillars of MAPP: Benchmarking, Best Practices, Networking, and Cost Saving Programs. Companies that take advantage of the benefits are receiving an ROI well beyond their membership dues. RJG Offers a 10% discount on all our training and a free eLearning training seat annually.
