Soon to be RE Released! RJG's 2 port Junction for Lynx Cabling
Do you ever find a need to connect just two Lynx devices to the eDART and are left with the choice of running two long individual Lynx cables or using a 5 port junction? The J-LX2 may be your answer. It reduces lengthy cable runs and occupies less space than a 5 or 9 port junction. We are anticipating release in early 3rd quarter and would like to gauge interest in this product. Please email marketing with your feedback!

Changes to piezoelectric sensors allow interchangeability
RJG announces changes to its popular Lynx Piezo Sensor line aimed at increasing flexibility to the user. Current Lynx Piezo sensors come with a sensor mated to a uniquely calibrated Lynx sensor case. The new Lynx Piezo Sensor configuration allows the Lynx Piezo case to be moved to other sensors as needed while maintaining the ability to identify the mold. Currently when customers order Lynx Piezo Sensors they receive a calibrated sensor, case and cable. The sensor and case must be kept together to ensure proper operation. When a customer orders the new Lynx Piezo Sensor configuration they receive a calibrated Piezo sensor, calibrated Lynx case, and cable. These can be kept together or be used with other sensors, cases, and cables as needed. In addition, the sensor or case can be sent in separately for certification and recalibration.

RJG Presents: Ensuring Absolute Quality of Critical Plastic Components by Bob Reese

Do you ever receive bad parts from your molding suppliers? How confident are you that none of these get through to your finished product? Do you struggle with the costs of validation, and still end up fighting quality issues? Device Manufacturers are under increasing pressure to deliver absolute quality at reduced cost. With injection molded parts, this starts with the fundamentals of good part and tool design, and continues with robust processes based on Scientific Molding principles that streamline process validation. In this presentation, we will discuss proven techniques and technologies. We’ll provide case studies from a leading device manufacturer to show how you can make these strategies work for you.

Training Spotlight

Systematic Molding LIVE via the internet!
This is an excellent overview for managers of the many economic benefits of implementing a scientific molding strategy in your organization, and for those responsible to understand scientific molding principles in order to approve process changes and make decisions. Students leave this course with a better understanding of how to develop a machine independent process, how to make data driven improvements to existing processes, as well as how to effectively trouble-shoot using scientific and systematic approaches. Students will also understand the cause and effect relationships between the machine, process, mold, and material as well as how and why polymer behavior is influenced. This will allow them to make informed decisions for lasting solutions instead of “band-aid” fixes to the process. This course is delivered directly to you via the internet with a Live instructor. You can “raise your virtual hand” to ask questions, see demonstrations, and re-watch the presentation later.
Upcoming eLearning Class: June 13-17

RJG Technology Days
RJG’s Technology Day seminar focuses on systematic processing strategies and advanced processing technologies that will allow you to consistently manufacture the highest quality parts. Molders are finding that three key components provide positive results: cavity pressure sensors, process control systems and employee training. Individually, each of these components have a positive effect on part quality, when combined the results can be staggering. This seminar is a must for anyone responsible for the development and manufacture of plastic parts or directly involved in part quality issues. The methods & technology we teach dove-tail with most “green” initiatives and our training can often be offset through green initiative grants.

July 5 - Hermosillo, Mexico (Spanish)
July 12 - East Hanover, NJ
