Tax Credits and Deductions for Equipment Purchases
There are 2 main tax breaks:
1)The cost of equipment be expensed 100% for an immediate federal tax deduction for up to $250,000 of purchased equipment and software. This limit is scheduled to be reduced to $135,000 next year.
2) For assets that are purchased (not leased) a business can claim a first year bonus of 50% of the cost that remains after subtracting any allowable write-offs. While larger businesses may be ineligible, this bonus is available to any business regardless of size. Contact your tax preparer for details.

College Credit for
Master MolderSM classes

Master Molder students can now get college credit towards the Advanced Processing and Robotics Certification through Mount Wachusset Community College. Students will get 3 credits for Master Molder I and 2 credits for Master Molder II classes taken onsite RJG. Class credits are transferrable into the associates program. 5 Port & 9 Port Lynx™ Junction Boxes
The new 5-port and 9-port Lynx junction boxes are smaller and can be daisy chained allowing for reduced footprints and increased ease of implementation. Lynx junction boxes can be mounted on the moving or stationary platen, mold half or any other convenient location on the molding machine. Once mounted, the junction boxes allow multiple Lynx devices to interface with the eDART System. Contact RJG for more information.

In-Mold Temperature Sensors
The 1mm Flush Mount Temperature Sensor is a miniaturized K type cavity temperature sensor designed for application where small size and fast reaction is important.  The 1mm temperature sensor is available with a machinable sensor tip.

The 1.5mm Spring Loaded Temperature Sensor is a miniaturized K type temperature sensor designed for application where a witness mark is to be avoided.  The sensor can be mounted behind the cavity surface insuring no marks are left on the part and avoiding flash problems sometimes experienced with certain materials. Its removable feature also allows for easy maintenance.
